About Me

Hi, I'm Kate, I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse and part time artist. I got my BA Degree in Fine Art with honours in 2019 from Kingston University, and my graphic design diploma in 2020 from Kingston University. I worked as a freelance artist for 2 years and then went on to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Central College of Animal Studies in 2025. I love all things nature, four legged and a bit quirky. I have a real passion for helping people and animals, particularly through the heart-breaking experience of saying goodbye to a beloved pet. I have a unique perspective on the relationships between people and their animals through my work as a veterinary nurse, which shapes my work as an artist. My personalised pet portraits aim to not just replicate an animal's likeness but capture their essence through careful hand drawn impressions and individualised details (which you can personalise through my submission form).
